Well maybe just something borrowed. i found this on a friends space and fell in like with it. Hope it means as much to my faithful readers as it does to me.

I have come that they might have life, and have it to the full. JOHN 10:10

Your future is full of…

JOY because God has a plan for you.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future.”
JEREMIAH 29:11

PEACE because God will be with you wherever you go.
“I am with you always.”
MATTHEW 28:20

HOPE because God is working on your behalf.
“In all things God works for the good of those who love Him.”
ROMANS 8:28

LOVE because God deeply loves you.
“How wide and long and deep and high is the love of Christ.”
EPHESIANS 3:18

STRENGTH because God gives you everything
you need.
“I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”
PHILIPPIANS 4:13

CONFIDENCE because God made you who you are.
“God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.”
GENESIS 1:31

COURAGE because God can do more than you can imagine!
“With God all things are possible.”
MATTHEW 19:26

…Remember Jesus

I found this quote today while reading my “God Came Near” calender By Max Lucado.

“When it hurts to do what is right…remember Jesus”

Ever since I’ve be replaying it over and over in my mind and finally I decided to scrap my newest favorite quote with one of my many favorite Nicole Nordeman songs. The song is unbelievable beautiful and makes my heart burst with love for our Precious Saviour. Here you go:

I know the same photo i posted in my last entry is also in this picture but hey-i LOVE it and it’s so thought provoking and it sends such a profound message i can’t help but use it over and over….So deal with it. :)

An Easter Prayer

Lord,
Thank You for the gift of HOPE
You gave us on Easter morning.
Because of You we know
that no problem is to difficult
and even death does not have power over us.
Thank You for the gift of JOY
You gave us when You were resurrected.
Because of you we know
that no matter how challenging life may be,
in the end we will rejoice again.
Thank You for the gift of LOVE
You gave us when You laid down Your life.
Because of You we know
that there is no sin too great to separate us
and we are incredibly valuable to You.
Thank You for the gift of LIFE
You gave us when you left the tomb.
Because of Easter we know
this world is just the beginning
and we will spend forever in heaven with You.
We celebrate You, JESUS,
with hearts full of praise and gratitude
for who You are and all You’ve done for us!
Amen.

Oh great God
Be small enough to hear me now,
There were times when I was crying
From the dark of Daniel’s den,
And I have asked you once or twice
If you would part the sea again,
Tonight I do not need a fiery pillar in the sky
Just want to know you’re gonna
Hold me if I start to cry.

Oh great God
Be small enough to hear me now,
Oh great God
Be close enough to feel me now,
Oh great God be close to me
There have been moments

When I could not face Goliath on my own,
And how could I forget we marched
Around our share of Jericho’s,
But I will not be setting out
The fleece for you tonight,
Just wanna know if everything will be alright

Oh great GodBe close enough to feel me now.Oh praise and all the honor be
To the god of ancient mysteries,
Whose every sign and wonder
Turn the pages of our history,
But tonight my heart is heavy
And I cannot keep from whispering this prayer:
Are you there?

And I know you could leave writing
On the wall that’s just for me,
Or send wisdom while I’m sleeping
Like in Solomon’s sweet dreams,
I don’t need the strength of Sampson
Or a chariot in the end,
Just wanna know that you still know

How many hairs are on my head
Oh great God,

Are you small enough
Be small enough to hear
Me now?

year-2007-highlights-copy.jpg

It’s a fear that keeps me wide awake
In the middle of the night
When the expectations are too great
And the bar gets raised too high
So I do the best with what I’ve got
And hope that no one knows
That I strain to see how high I can
Try to stand on these toes
Until I’m measured, but You know better

So, thank-You, Jesus
Even when You see us just as we are
Fragile and frail and so far
From who we want to be
So, thank-You, Jesus
Even when the pieces are broken and small
Dreams shatter and scatter like the wind
Thank-You, even then

So I put aside the masquerade
And admit that I am not okay
Which may not be the thing to say
But I’m not ashamed to need You more each day

We raise the standard and try to reach You
But we’ll never make it, and we don’t need to

When I say…

When I say…”I am a Christian”
I’m not shouting “I am saved”
I’m whispering “I get lost!”
“That is why I chose this way.”

When I say…”I am a Christian”
don’t speak of this with pride.
I’m confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

When I say…”I am a Christian”
I’m not trying to be strong.
I’m professing that I’m weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

When I say…”I am a Christian”
I’m not bragging of success.
I’m admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say…”I am a Christian”
I’m not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I’m worth it.

When I say…”I am a Christian”
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

When I say…”I am a Christian”
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I’m loved.
